Vennie Beeler's Portrait Price List

The calculation of price for any poitrait is a rather complex process. The prices listed below are approximate and are listed as a worksheet for your convenience.

  • Oil and Acrylic works are on your choice of high quality linen canvas or masonite panel. The old masters painted on panels and this practice allowed their work to survive the centries of weather and abuse. Unframed.
  • Watercolor works are on 80 pound pressed watercolor paper. size includes a 2 inch matting and unframed.
  • Vennie's works are usually shipped fully insured by UPS or Federal Express.
  • Oils dry by the chemical reaction of oxidation and therefore take a great deal longer than acrylics and watercolors which dry by evaporation.
  • Figures are as near life size as practicle depending on composition and size of painting.
  • Standard background is a mottled motif that can be keyed to the decor of intended location.
  • Any composition can be used with any size canvas or panel - but proportion and intended location is usually a limiting factor.
